Participate in a world-wide study of light pollution called GLOBE at Night.  Get involved and learn how to maintain the Earth’s dark night skies as a natural resource. Participate in this year’s GLOBE at Night study with Park Ranger Nora Coffey.  Meet at the park office at 7:00 p.m.  After dark, head outdoors for a constellation tour and telescope viewing. Telescopes and binoculars provided, but bring your own if you have them.   Park gates close at 8:00 p.m. and remain closed for the duration of the program.  Please register by calling the park office at 828-652-5047.
